how to filter hierarchical business units in Direct Query on the dataverse ?

Hi ! 

I need the mind hive on this one.
I'm running a direct query on the dataverse to retreive the Business Units of our CRM. The problem with hierarchy is to select all the "nested" BU when one is selected in a slicer. 

Direquery don't allow the use of the PATH functions. 

Dataverse don't allow the  with CTE statement.

I'm looking for a work around..any workaround... I also have access to an export to data lake if it can help. (may be with the CTE ? I didn't try this one yet)
