how to change data type text to date in power BI DataFlow

Hi There,

While creating DataFlow in web Power BI, i am trying to changing the Date type text to Date and error are appears 

before this folowing steps are applied in query editor

1) Source

2) Filtered Rows with file name from folder (

3)Split by space (Eveiry Excel file has name with Date in MM/DD/YYYY format hence splited with right most space option)

after above steps i am trying tochange date type text to date type but facing error.

Please guide

Hi

If you create a new column and use DATEVALUE, do you get the same error?

If so, it is likely to be a configuration issue within dates i.e. you config specifies DD/MM rather than MM/DD.
