how to add more fields in rows to a matrix visual

Hi all, 

I am quite a newbie when it comes to power bi. I have a matrix visual and i am simply tring to add a description field near the code. here is how matrix looks 

Production code      Description                      2020                    2021                   2022 

code 1                                                         2356.25                2054.21              2105.65

I want to add the description of the code in the row near the code but when i drag the description field in the rows section of the matrix, a + comes on the code and the description goes inside the + I have to stay opening the + to see the description. 

How can i put the description near the code?

any help would be appreciated.

Hi @KrisCachia ,
You can simply drag and drop the description column to the code column in ROW section .
For example :-

Thanks for your reply. Nope it doesnt work, when i put the description there, the data came like this: 

Code

- 267835

         Barley

the code came with a + 267835 and when i press the + the descirption shows at the bottom under the code. I want the description near the code 267835 because i am wasting 2 rows space for every product 

Am i missing a setting or something ?
