    Hello Magesen ,

Make sure that any matrix formatting options (like Show on Rows) or filters aren’t affecting the behavior. You could try resetting the visual by recreating it.

The field you are trying to drag must be compatible with the Columns area. Check if it’s categorical data; numerical or aggregated fields typically belong in Values instead of Columns.

    Hi Magesen

Just tick mark your filed. it will add in either row or column. then you can drag to desired placed.

or change the setting from here.

    I hope I answered your question1

    Hi Magesen ,

While I was browsing the forums, I noticed that this post doesn't seem to have been resolved.

Pls has your problem been solved?

I noticed that you can put more than one field under rows of your matrix visual. Adding multiple fields to a column is actually the same as adding a row.

Here's an example as dharmendars007 said.

If you still have doubts, please provide a more detailed description, preferably some virtual sample data, and the expected results.
