Hi there,
how can I control the association of a calculated column? Whenever I am adding a calculated column to a visulisation table the data field is often (but not always) created in an apparently non-related table and assigning a different "home table" is disabled.
Would be great if someon can help,
Best
Thomas

Hi @thoms1,
You can set the calculation of the column by right click the column as follows.
Or could you please create fake table and list the expected result for further analysis if you still have other issue?
Thanks,
Angelia
Hi @thoms1,
From what I know, I create a calculated column in a table, it only shows in the table. Based on your description, sometimes it shows in non-related table? How did you create a calculated column? I can't image your scenario, could you please share a sample table and screenshot in details for further analysis?
Best Regards,
Angelia
Hi Angelia,
thanks for your answer. The columns are always shown correctly in the visualisation table. But in the Fields section on the right, a new column is sometimes not inserted in the table I expect it to be.
I was just wondering how to control this association of a calculated column to a "home" table and how the default behaviour is designed.
Best regards
Thomas
