highlight and filter Bar Chart by using Slicer without disappearing non related values

Hi everyone, 

i'm currently building a Report which shows the SUM of product units by maschines in different Bar Charts. 

I'm using a Slicer with Products and 3 Bar Charts showing the SUM of products by maschines and a Product Group as a small multiplier. 

So when i select a Product on my Slicer it should highlight the related bars but the non related values should be visible as well but in a different color and also it has to show the proportion on my product units based on the selected Filter and the total amount should still be visible. 

So basically a highlighted bar chart which also shows the filtered value. 

Does anybody had to do something like this in the past or has maybe a solution ?

    Hi PhilippList ,

     

    For this you need to have a disconnected table and some DAX to make the higligh, please see this video with a full walktrough.

      thank you for you reply.

      i've already applied this step into my Dataset but that's not exactly what i was looking for, because this just simply colors the bars based on the selected values. 

      i'd like to see the normal cross-highlight interaction like for example if click on a bar in a different chart it cross-highlights any related bar in my other charts and shows the exact proportion, but by using a slicer instead. 

      for clarification it should look like this: 


      Is there any solution how i can achieve this.

        Hi PhilippList ,

         

        You can do this using the DAX code however you may need to use more than one column or a visual calculation to get the expected result.

         

        One question is this to be applied to more than one visual using different options inside your model or to a single visual? Asking this because it also impacts the final solution.

         

        Can you please share a mockup data or sample of your PBIX file. You can use a onedrive, google drive, we transfer or similar link to upload your files.

        If the information is sensitive please share it trough private message.
