hi, really sorry if this very basic..summarize function

Hi, I am trying to use the summarize function but got stuck with the 3rd argument - it is not accepting the 3rd argument

1.trying to create a table using the summarize

Customers_GropBy_Table=SUMMARIZE(

'Sales SalesOrderDetail',

'Sales SalesOrderDetail'[CustomerID],

expression - This is where i am trying to use the measure which is already exists in the same table - but i do not see that field

when i try to put the "Sales Amount" as expression like 

'Sales SalesOrderDetail'[Sales Amount] ) - the error is sales amount specified in the summarize function was not found in the input table - i have this column in the same table

below is what i have in the Sales Amount measure

Sales Amount = SUM('Sales SalesOrderDetail'[OrderQty]) * SUM('Sales SalesOrderDetail'[UnitPrice])

@Raj007 3rd argument, in your case, should be a Constant of a name you want to give for your expression like "My Sale Amount" and thereafter 4th argument is where you will give the actual formulae/expression/measure which is Sales SalesOrderDetail'[Sales Amount]

@Raj007 You need four arguments in your case. You have to name the field for the expression so like this:

Customers_GropBy_Table=SUMMARIZE(

'Sales SalesOrderDetail',

'Sales SalesOrderDetail'[CustomerID],"Sales Amount",[Sales Amount])
