Good afternoon,
After checking this matter in existing subjects, this is the 1st time I post such a request online, throwing a bottle in the sea for our small company.
We used to work with Business Central on-premises, but we recently changed to Saas version due to a ransomware which even locked our backups.
Most of suggestions online (including microsoft Learn) indicate that we should go through web services and publish pages to get data on PBI Desktop.
these pages can sucessfully be seen on "getting data" and I manage to sync and handle reports.
fine.
However , some fields actually included in BC lack in Power BI Desktop (as an example : "direct unit costs" in "Requisition Lines") after importing and refreshing our reports.
I used pages 517, (and 291 and 246 for double checking)
I would be definitely more comfortable by using complete tables directly instead of publishing pages, multiplicating queries or making relations or fusions ...
is that something that could be handled in BC saas version ? I am not sure by checking on Microsoft Help...
Am I wrong to use these web services to get data if I need to get tables ?
could Dataverse could help to rule our issue ?
I would be grateful if someone could have a quick look on this.
the simplest solution (if somebody have one) will be the best.
Thank you for your valuable support,
Bastien
