hi all,
i noticed one behaviour for the forecast in line charts. Maybe soomeone can help me to understand. I have a number of customers who left. And the same with a negative sign (-1 * customers who left). The Forecast for both cases are very different?!
Which are the right one?
Thanks for ideas!
Hi @Pikachu-Power ,
In my sample data, changing the sign does not affect the predicted values of the line chart. Could you please share your PBIX file? What is your Desktop version?
Best Regards,
Winniz
Please provide sanitized sample data that fully covers your issue. If you paste the data into a table in your post or use one of the file services it will be easier to work with. Please show the expected outcome.
You can use any data with numbers. Than the built in function for forecast in line chart. Once with the measure and once with the same measure * -1. You should get than two different results with no relation.
I use 7 points / ignore 7 points and 95% confidence interval.
