Hello
I am exploring field parameters in order to solve a problem regarding dynamically changing between two value columns on a bar chart visual.
X axis is getting a column with sales persons and Y column should be getting either columns A or B (calculated) containing different numbers. However, after constructing a field param for columns A and B and placing it in Y axis on the visual, nothing is displayed. But it displays as expected when placing the field param on the X axis.
I have checked the data type for the columns and they are defined as whole numbers. What else could be an issue here, what am I missing?
PBI version 2.110.1161.0 64-bit (October 2022)
Thanks!

@habarnam , Y axis in clustered bar visual needs to me number. Make sure you are creating that on measures not columns

Thanks, I thought it would just accept measures, but makes no sense to me. If I do separate graphs and use columns A and B on the Y axis, they display. If, however, I build a parameter around them and have the parameter select which column I want to display in the graph, it stops working because it requires a measure.
What I was looking for in the end was a way to dynamically change the column that a graph uses to display data.
If you unpivot the selected columns beforehand, the 'Attribute' column should give you the same function.
