Hi,
I use powerbi desktop application to create my sales dashboards. When I have all data I need, I export it using the 3 dots. it creates a csv file where data are spread in different columns. Then I load these data into another excel file where I've created a specific table to welcome these raw data. Then I click on "refresh all" and all my data are automatically readable into the right section of my different tables. However, since yesterday, I have an issue, when I export data from powerbi, all data are in one column (A) seperated with comma and not into differents columns like before. Because of that, when I load the raw data in my second excel file, data don't load into the different table. Even if use the function "Text to columns" in the first excel. Any idea how to reslove this issue ? Thanks
I assume this is a value or format problem because all my table remain blank when I upload and refresh data in my excel file. I'm on Version : 2.110.1161.0 64-bit (octobre 2022).
I just checked with one of my colleague who use the same file and when he extracts the data from powerbi and he opens the csv file, the data are correctly in columns so it is definitely a problem on my side. What should I do ? Thanks
@Gia-gia , is it the formatted number causing an issue? Ideally, format should not get exported in csv.
if that is happening, log an issue - https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
Before that make sure you are on latest version
