hi
i attached print screen of the error when i trying to import data of my ssas.
is someone know what's the problem? i have 64bit version and also enough memory.
when i choose other attribute to iomport sometimes the error is transaction failed or something like that..
there is no problem on live connection but in this way i can't add measurs\columns
thank you very much for your help!
Hi MP_123,
According to your description, you are able to connect to SSAS database to get data, but when you add a measure or column in Power BI Desktop, the error throws out, right?
Based on my research, the issue can be caused by an incorrect memory setting in SSAS. In your scenario, please make the memory settings change to give a proper value to the memory limits in either percentage of server memory, or in bytes. For more information, please refer to this article:
If you have any question, please feel free to ask.
Best regards,
Qiuyun Yu
the memory settings you meant, is on my computer ? or on the SSAS ?
PBI desktop doesnt have size limits right? the limit is only when publish?
Hi MP_123,
The memory settings mentioned in orignal post is on SSAS server. You can open Analysis Server Properties to modiffy those preperties.

Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
