error message

I have been running the same report for more than a month and haven't made any changes to it.  Now I am receiving this message when I refresh.

"This expression refers to '8c12a806-fd5b-440d-a917-a60c0100e0f6', which has an error"

We have made a change to our DB2 version from 9.7 to 10.5.  Is it possible this could have an affect.  Other dashboards running fine.

I don't know where to start to trouble shoot this error.

Hi @Ria,

Can you please provide some detail information about this issue? It is hard to troubleshooting from your description.

In addition, you can also try to test with below method:

Create a query which connect the new version database, then copy the query string in query editor, and compare with the original query string.

In my opintion, the simply way to fix your issue is creata a new report and copy your visuals. Since current power bi not support this feature, you can vote at below link which about allow copy visuals between different pbix files.

Allow copy and paste between different PBIX's
