dynamic gantt chart

Hi Everybody

I want to create a dashboard where i have a course time table with days ,start time, and end time for every course.

What i need is the following:

1. a temporary table to store the selection of courses for a particular student - the table should empty when i select another student

2. a kind of gantt chart or a timetable that shows the timing of the selected courses and it should also empty when i select another student

3. is there a way to get that dynamically meaning that whenever a course is added to temporary table, the corresponding slot on the timetable or chart gets colored to keep track of time slots selected

even a partial solution would be highly appreciated
