duplicate pages but want different filters on each page

Hi, I have a report that has 6 different metrics that I've added to 6 different tabs.
Each one of the tabs contains the same visuals, but each has slightly different filters.

My goal is to have one page where all the metrics are on one page and through a drop down or button configuration, call measures that change the data within the visuals, depending on what the user chooses.

I can do this.

But each page has anywhere between one and 5 slicers.  Each one of these can be on one or more pages, and they are visually in the same location (above the first visual).

Is there a way to hide the specific slicers, depending on which metric the user chooses?  I can create measures that can populate all the slicers but I can't find a way to make invisible the ones that I dont need.

Something like this
1) User chooses Track Sales
Track Sales - all 5 slicers are needed

2) User chooses Retailer - I would only need 4 slicers visible

Any ideas?
Thanks, Steven Taub

Hi Steven,

You can achieve this using bookmarks.

- On one page you create the all 6 buttons (depending on which you will call can change the look by creating new ones each).

- Select from the Menubar View --> "selection" and "bookmarks" in order to see all buttons

- it is an iterative process, but you need to create the relating slicer, create the bookmark, change so it only has impact on "Display" and "selected visuals" (three dots right to the bookmark). You select relating ones (you can even group them) in the selection pane and update the bookmark.

I would begin with just two view and test it before trying to implement all six at once.

Hi, thanks for the update.  You gave me some good ideas!  I'll try that and see what the results are.
I originally was just going to leave the pages available for the user to click on, but doing that prevents any bookmarking from occurring.

I guess I'll have to create a section on a page containing the buttons for the user to click on, so that the filters are set the way i want them to appear. Thanks!
