How remove this date icon
and why it appear in one file and does not apear in other?
it is not date hieracrhy!!!! as if i create date hierarchy in file where this icon does not exist, hierarchy creating as separate hierarchy not in same field
chechk box make no sence, it do nothing
Hi @Digger ,
What your snipshot shows are two different ways to create a date hierachy
1. Right click the date column, select Create hierarchy.
Get this result, it doesn't really make sense, because the original date column and the new date column in the Date Hierarchy are the same.
You need to create the calculated column for the year, month and day you need, then right click and select Add to hierarchy.

2. Turn on the Auto date/time option in the options setting.
This method can auto create Year, Quarter, Month, Day columns, and auto apper the icon you want to remove.

Hi,
The tick box you have sent a photo of only changes it going forward for new files. That's in the global option section. Further down in data load for current file there is another similar tick box.
The auto hierarchy also gets turned off if a relationship is created based on the date field, for example to a date table.
Also if that is a date table if you click "mark as date table" the auto date time gets turned off.
