I am tring to configure Tagetik custom connector in the on-prem gateway (personal mode).
I can sign in to the gateway and gateway is able to find the folder where the .mez connector file is stored, however, the custom connector name is not appearing in the gateway.
@Jeanxyz Is it microsoft certified custom connector for power bi. if not then you have ask vendor get it certify the custom connector then you can use it or
refer this Use custom data connectors with the on-premises data gateway - Power BI | Microsoft Learn document.
Thanks

@Jeanxyz Hey,
I hope that you have got the .Mez file for custom connector and it will work with power bi desktop but it will not work for power bi services as authentication method will not work as on prem gateway will not able recognise the connector.
Thanks
Harish M
@HarishKM , this custom connector has been tested by the vendor so certification should not be an issue.
Also the custom connector works when I connect PB Desktop to Tagetik workspace. It only fails at the gateway.
Does the gateway allows two different user names? I connect PB Desktop to Tagetik using a non MS user name, but when signing into the on-prem gateway, I can only use a MS account. When I install the custom connector on gateway, there is no prompt to provide the non MS credentials. Does that mean the gateway only allows one user name to sign into the gateway and the custom connector?
