Hi there,
I am using May 2017 Desktop, Import model.
This may be my misunderstanding of cross-filtering on slicers.
I have a page with two slicers. Those slicers have Interactions set to Filter (both ways). Slicer 1 is Year ; Slicer 2 is Class. There are n Classes in each Year.
When Year 1 is selected on Year slicer then the Class filter shows only those classes in Year 1. Correct.
But when the Class BATS is then selected, and then I go back and select Year 2 on the Year Slicer, I get all the Year 2 classes correctly but BATS is still there on the slicer. It should have disappeared.
Is this a bug?

Please reference this topic, which is the same with yours. https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Interaction-between-two-Slicers-doesn-t-work-well/td-p/72578/page/2
It's answered by v-haibl-msft. And there is also a workaround supplied by Sean. Maybe you could submit an idea here: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas?query=slicer%20uncheck

Hi Dale, I understand the logic now. I don't agree with it - the slicer needs more finessing. I'll respond on the other post. Thanks.
