creating relationships
Hi,
I have a page-level filter which is coming from one table(table1) , i've a visual (single column) in which the data is coming from another table (table2).
Now if i check a value in the filter, the visual is not responding as there's no direct relationship between them
But both the tables (table1, table2) have a relationship with another table (table3) on datekey column.
How to achieve this functionality? Early response is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Swaroop

SwaroopRoyM Are both relationships set up as bi-directional? Setting the relationships to that type may resolve the issue.
Hi SwaroopRoyM,
In addition, make sure there is no loop(like Table X and Table Y in the following picture) between your table1 and table2 in your table pattern, because cross filtering direction does not work well with this pattern, and can create an ambiguous set of relationships.

I'm not able to make the relationship bi-directional. Just to add, i'm pulling the data from Azure SQL.
Thanks,
