create a constant value

Good afternoon,

I am trying to use linear rgeression to caluclate how long it will take to reach a target. In the chart below you cna see the target as the horizontal red line - generated from

AVERAGEX(KEEPFILTERS(VALUES('PreC'[Date])), CALCULATE(SUM('PreC'[Value]))) * 1.2

you can see that this is an average that only applys to Pre-Covid dates.

In order to find the time frame to achieve target I need the difference between the most recent regression (Y) value and the target.

The problem I am having is that - of course - measure above changes with date AND only exists against pre-covid dates.

I need a constant value that exists against all dates.

help anybody? please?

  • SteveIOW , Try a measure like

    calculate(AVERAGEX(KEEPFILTERS(VALUES('PreC'[Date])), CALCULATE(SUM('PreC'[Value]))) * 1.2, allselected())
