You may create column and measure like DAX below.
Column: IsNum= IF (ISERROR ( VALUE ('Table'[Employee no])),"No","Yes")
Measure: Count_Num= CALCULATE(COUNT('Table'[Employee no]),FILTER('Table','Table'[IsNum]="Yes"))

you can use the Dax Function ISNUMBER to determine if its a number and after that you can filter it out or whatever you want.
