converting columns into rows

Hi all... 

I want to convert the Months ie., [columns] Apr, May, June etc... into rows with out unpivoting the table... [ I have almost 6.5 lakh records of multiple sheets combined as a single sheet using query.  when converting it takes a lot of time and during refresh also it takes lot of time]

OR

I want to insert month number into a calculated column ie., a new column as month number and values Apr means 4, May means 5 etc..

Is it possible?

In the matrix table, you can outcome like that. Any specific reason you want to store data into another table like that.

YES... NEED TO put month in a Slicer for selection and workout things...

Hi,

If you want a single month slicer, you will have no option but to use the "Unpivot Other columns" feature.
