I need to know some complex visuals that can be created using AI features power bi? example i want to show line or trend along with numbers on KPI card
Here are some complex visuals you can create in Power BI using AI features, including showing trend lines on KPI cards:
Decomposition Tree: AI suggests the most impactful paths to drill down through data hierarchically, helping explain variations in your metrics intuitively. Great for revenue or cost analysis with deep insights generated automatically by AI.
Key Influencers Visual: Uses AI to analyze what factors drive your key metrics. It helps identify main drivers and their impact on outcomes, useful for complex decision-making.
Q&A Visual: Powered by AI natural language processing, users can ask questions in plain English and get visual answers instantly. It creates simple charts dynamically based on the query.
Smart KPI Cards with Trend: Power BI's KPI visual shows a key number alongside a trend line, targets, and indicators. This provides a compact overview of performance and trend analysis in one visual.
Anomaly Detection: AI identifies and highlights unusual patterns or outliers in your time series data (works with line charts), useful for spotting trends or anomalies automatically.
Hi @v-menakakota , @Tahreem24 , @pbiuseruk
can we create these visuals using AI, actually i wanted to know if we can create any complex visuals using AI
Hi @powerbiexpert22 ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.
Here are some more examples of complex visuals you can create in Power BI:
Decomposition tree :to break down a value step by step.
Waterfall chart : to show how values increase or decrease across stages.
Radar or spider chart : to compare performance across categories.
Custom visuals : from AppSource like Zebra BI, Card with States, or Deneb for more flexibility.

You can try:
1. Native visual: By combining Line chart and KPI card visuals together you can make this complex chart
2. Custom visual from AppSource: You can download custom visual from Appsource like Zebra BI, Card with States by OKVIZ, etc.
Hi,
You can use the normal KPI card visual which allows this (the trend line is shown in the background with a shaded area). Alternatively, you can build a bunch of separate visuals and remove the backgrounds so it looks like one (much more flexible and better UI in my opinion) but it takes longer to develop.
