combo chart visual with custom design

im trying to show YTD  Vs last year YTD using combo chart , however i would like to show it in a specific design that im not sure there is a custom visual for it or work around

example of what i have right now :

so as you can see i removed the line and only kept the circle . what im trying to show:

1-solid horizontal line instead of the cirle

2- for a specific date range , let's say Jan10-jan27 i want to show the date range in the x-axis with all dates as blank (without bars) and only 1 bar for the current date (jan27) so that the current date is highlighted differently

  • How are you expecting to draw a solid line from a single data point?

That's the best you can do with the native visual
