i have a sharepoint folder i am pulling hundreds of excel templates into power bi, but i want to separate each pull by worksheet, is there a way of specifying the worksheet name when you pulling from sharepoint?

After pulling all excel files from SharePoint folder, there is a column listing all worksheets' names, from whcih you can do a filter to get specific worksheet you need.
You can also apply a filter in Power Query code, reference: Consolidate Multiple Excel Files in SharePoint using PowerQuery
