Hi guys,
I need help to solve the circular dependency in my columns Dax. I can't post the correct code here, but I tried to insert the logic for my columns table.
Column1 = ((measure1 *0,80)/sum(Volume))
measure1 = measure2*(measure3/sum(Value))
measure2 = measure4*(sum(Value)/sum(Value2))
measure4 = sum(Value3)*(sum(Value2)/measure5))
measure5 = sum(Value4)/sum(Value5)
measure3 = sum(Value)*sum(Value6)
Column2 = sum(Volume)/measure3
The dependency occurs in Colum1: Column1, Column2, Column1
This error can be by modeling?
Hi @twister8889 ,
Value of measure can't be captured in calculated column. No offense but why you are using measures and calculated columns instead of calculated columns only? It's better to share the calculated logic to use so that we may be able to help you deal with the DAX.
Best Regards,
Jay
HI @twister8889
Its not a modelling issue.
You have to check on the order of the measures and columns, as in teh ask you have created Column1 before measure1 by using measure1.
Also, create all the columns before creating measure.
First of all, thank you for your answer..
I'm trying to analyze, but I didn't create the colum1 before measure1 because I need to first of measure1 to use in Column1
@twister8889 , you should not use a measure in a column. if needed create a column. You will not be able to use slicer value in the column.
