change date to custom text

Hello everybody, I hope you can help me.

I think my problem is simple to solve, but I just dont get it...

What i want:

So when there is a date in the field, I want to have a custom Text, like "done".

When the cell is null/empty, I want another text, like "open".

I hope you guys can help me.
