can you filter using countrow filter measures

Hello

I really need advice and would appreciate anyone who can help

on the left hand is a table consisting of three measures i created using counrows and calculate

e..g

total blds = COUNTROWS(FILTER(ALL('Building Database'), 'Building Database'[Technical Risk] <> "Blue"))

i want to click on these values and allow it to filter the source table which is on the right

when i click on them, it doesn't the filter table

can anyone explain why this is happening please?

Hi @Maz_0102
This is not working because measures can't give a filter context like columns.
This is also a reason that you can't use them as a slicer.
You should have the column Building Database [Technical Risk] in the visual that you want to use as a filter.
or maybe to use bookmarks with the functionality of switching between the visuals.
In your case, you can use 3 blank buttons up to the table which will switch between the same table filtered in different ways.

More information about switching between visuals with bookmarks here :

*again in your case the buttons will be blank without text / fill color.
and you will stay with the same visual just change the filter

I generated a small example you can see how it works here:
