calculated column by column ID
Hi all,
I am trying to create a new calculated column in PowerBI that will take the sum of volume by ID. Any suggestions?
Thanks!!!
Hi puj831,
From your description, I thought the sum of ID=3 should be 228(43+23+24+43+31+64), right? If so, you could refer to below steps:
1.I have entered some sample data like the picture below:
2.Create a calculated column and you can see the result.
Column = CALCULATE(SUM(Table1[Volume]),FILTER('Table1','Table1'[ID]=EARLIER(Table1[ID])&&'Table1'[Ciyt]=EARLIER(Table1[Ciyt])))
You can also download the PBIX file to have a view.
