Hello,
Please, I want to calculate the cumulative turnover but I have the dimenssion date (Year, quarter, month, day) ie I want to display the cumulated by exploring the data through the year then the quarter then by the month then by the day.
Here is a screenshot explaining the past of the year to the quarter by the month by clicking on the axis.
In short, I look for the DAX formula that allows me to calculate the cumulative turnover.
Thank you.
You might use the TOTALMTD function to display the cumulative using your date column as reference. It automatically creates context around the YEAR context. You only need to specify the date column used in your chart in the TOTALMTD sintaxis. Check the function sintaxis here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/totalmtd-function-dax,
then try to drive through the hierarchy levels to see what happens.
You might check other similar functions as TOTALQTD or TOTALYTD.
Hello,
I tried these two formulas to calculate the cumulative turnover but it did not work. Can you calculate the cumulated?
Here is a screenshot:
Thank you a lot
