best way to write this dax function

Is this best way to write this dax function

 

DepartmentFixAsset = 
Switch(SELECTEDVALUE(Employee[Department]),
BLANK(),SELECTEDVALUE('Fixed Asset Depreciation'[Custodian]),
SELECTEDVALUE(Employee[Department])
)

 

so some custodian Fixed Asset Depreciation'[Custodian] don't have departments.

You can  write that in one line DepartmentFixAsset = SELECTEDVALUE(Employee[Department] , SELECTEDVALUE('Fixed Asset Depreciation'[Custodian])

As selected value accepts a replacement value if it's blank

You can  write that in one line DepartmentFixAsset = SELECTEDVALUE(Employee[Department] , SELECTEDVALUE('Fixed Asset Depreciation'[Custodian])

As selected value accepts a replacement value if it's blank
