bar chart gridlines control

Hi,

I have a date table with several columns, two of them are day-name and day-number-in-week.

How can I create a sort of progress bar for the week, for eah passing day?

I tried a clustered bar chart, but only managed this (in the example I filtered Thursday, the 4th day of the week):

I want the X axis to run from Monday - Sunday, but I'll settle for 1 - 7 based on the day number.

Problem is I can't really control the gridlines - make the X axis show all numbers from 1-7, or for that matter even show 1 and 7. If I play with the visual size it shows all the values, but I want it to always show and not just when the visual is extra large.

X-axis format as follows:

I cannot add the days name or number to the axis section as it puts them on Y-axis, and the value I added is the day number.

any ideas how to make it look something like one of these options:

thank you!

Hi,

thanks but since there is no actual X axis value, I cannot change it.

The X axis are set values from 0 to 7:

Whenever I add a category to the axis in thie visual it puts it on Y axis.

@Anonymous you can move Day to x-axis. Since it is a number field, when you drop it on the visual, it automatically put it in value section.

If I put anything in the axis section, it puts it into the Y axis (bar chart).

This is completely different from what I aim for:
