can it be possible to show background bars as highlighted below in horizontal bar chart as shown below ?

Hi @powerbiexpert22 - Yes, it's possible, You can use a custom chart: Infographic designer to show a background for each category. Here’s how:

Here's a breakdown of how you can achieve this:

1. Prepare Your Data:

Make sure your data has the necessary information for the chart:
Asset Class (e.g., Living, Office, Logistics, Hospitality)
SFT (Square Feet) value for each asset class
2. Create a Basic Horizontal Bar Chart:

Drag the "Asset Class" field to the Axis well.
Drag the "SFT" field to the Values well.
3. Add Background Bars:

Right-click on the chart and select "Format Axis."
In the "Axis Options" pane, find the "Show Background" option and enable it.
Adjust the background color and transparency as needed.
4. Customize the Appearance (Optional):

You can further customize the chart by:
Adding labels to the bars.
Changing the color and style of the bars.
Adding a title to the chart
