aggregate values in a column

Hi all,

It might be a simple query but I am unable to solve it.

I have a table called 'Case Tracker'. There is a column 'Status' in the table and Status has 6 attributes, i.e. 'Implemented', 'Not Implemented', 'Further Information Required', 'With Internal Audit', 'Rejected' and 'No Longer Applicable' . When I am plotting the Matrix Visualization with 'Year' in the Rows and 'Status' in columns, it is breaking down the Status into separate attribues, whereas I want only single value for Status, as show in the screenshot beloiw. What I want is the aggregate value for each year with a heading of Status.

Please help me in this regard.

Thanks

Hello, if you are looking to get the Total column to show, by year, without the individual statuses listed across the top, remove status from column. Then, you will have the years in rows and the totals will appear. You could also use a table visual since you don't need to use column (but I do prefer the look of Matrix).
