YoY Growth % Horizontal

Hi,

I made a YoY measure that works fine vertically, but when I try to do it in a matrix where months are horizontally it won't display. I've included a picture that shows NewCarsRegistrered in the matrix, but when I try to replace it with the YoY% it doesn't work. Can someone explain why?vertically.JPGmatrix.JPGerror.JPG

You should mark the date table as a date table. That will means you will not have the date hierarchy.

You should have month and year columns in the date table

month = format([Date],"mmmm")

Month year sort = format([Date],"mm")

How to use sort column https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-sort-by-column

Try like this

Awesome!

I had to make a separate date table though since the one I used had a gap in dates.

Thanks!!
