Hello,
I am trying to create a matrix that shows the monthly data for the current year and prior year, along with an additional column that shows the % change. I currently have the following matrix:
As you can see, I created a measure that accomplishes this, but I am unable to have this show up in a separate column. Based on some research, I think I may need to create a new calculated column in my data versus a measure.
Does anyone know how I would go about this?
Thank you.
@tsolberg , Try new measures and use switch values on rows. Show values on rows (in Matrix Visual)
MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD('Date'[Date]))
last MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH)))
diff = [MTD Sales]-[last MTD Sales]
diff % = divide([MTD Sales]-[last MTD Sales],[last MTD Sales])
Or use calculation group
Calculation Groups- Measure Slicer, Measure Header Grouping, Measure to dimension conversion. Complex Table display : https://youtu.be/qMNv67P8Go0
