Work Email Not Recognized

Hello,

We are trying to subscribe to a power bi pro account.

We tried to register the email ****@ncp.org.ph as a user but we get the message this is not a valid work email.

This email is perfectly working.

May we know what we can do to resolve this?

1. Ensure Email Domain is Supported: Double-check that the email domain (e.g., ncp.org.ph) is supported by Power BI for registration. Some organizations may have restrictions or configurations that prevent certain email domains from being used for registration. You can check with your IT department or refer to Microsoft's documentation to verify supported email domains.

2. Check for Typos or Formatting Issues: Make sure there are no typos or formatting issues in the email address you're trying to register. Even a small typo or incorrect formatting could prevent the email address from being recognized as valid.

3. Try Alternative Registration Methods: If you're unable to register the email address directly through the Power BI website, consider alternative registration methods such as signing up through the Microsoft 365 admin center or using a different browser or device.

The message you're encountering typically appears when attempting to sign up with an email address that Power BI does not recognize as a valid work or school email. 

You can try the following methods to solve the problem:

Power BI requires an email provided by your work or school for registration. More details are provided in the documentation:

As Power BI utilises Microsoft 365 infrastructure for user management, please ensure that your organisation has a Microsoft 365 subscription.

If you are not a Microsoft 365 user, please consider signing up for Power BI through the new Microsoft 365 trial version.

If none of the above solves the problem, make sure your email domain is set up correctly and recognised by Microsoft Services.
