Will PowerBi Desktop be removed?

Hello everyone,
I wonder more and more about the future of Power Bi Desktop. Indeed, as updates are made, the various functionalities available on Power Bi Desktop are now achievable on Power Bi Service. Whether it's the creation of datasets, the creation of reports with almost all the features... Except perhaps the modeling part and the DAX formulas which are still limited (but soon available with datamarts?), almost everything Power Bi Desktop offers is now available on Power Bi Service.
Does Microsoft have the ambition, in the mid-long term, to remove Power Bi Desktop and centralize everything on Power Bi Service?

Personal view. I think there is still value in the future for the Power BI desktop. Admittedly, with the release of some previews, the functionality of Desktop and Services are increasingly overlapping. It is still not possible to use the service offline and we still need to use some features offline.
