I connected my Power BI Report to my SQL server through directquery mode. But when I went to transform data and in applied steps column, I went to last step and right clicked and found view native query option is disabled. The reason is I wrote an custom SQL statement. My question is still the storage mode of report shows DirectQuery. Will DirectQuery Mode have any impact if view native query option is disabled?
Now the query cannot be folded

Providing a native query breaks query folding, but if it does everything need it's ok. Is a native query really needed? In any case, if you want to fold subsequent steps, please see this article about the Value.NativeQuery function.
