Why is missing X-Axis and Type Continous/Categorical?

Why are missing X-Axis and Type Continous/Categorical when I set Area chart?

Is this a new section not visible inside Power BI and the latest version?

@toplisek , I checked it. Now it only appears when you use the Number and Date fields, where it is applicable. If Continuous is not applicable, you will not get that option, example like Text column

Hi @toplisek  ,
Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

The absence of the X-Axis Type setting Categorical vs. Continuous in your Power BI area chart is likely due to the data type of the field assigned to the X-axis. This setting is only available when the X-axis field is of a numerical or date/time data type. If the field is of a text data type, the Type option will not appear, and the axis will default to categorical.
