I have used PowerBI desktop to create a new report. I used 'Get Data' on an Azure SQL Database. I created a simple chart using the data from a table in the source. The data shows up just fine. I then click publish, and get the message "publishing succeeded, but the published report can't connect to the data source because we were unable to find a gateway"
From the documentation, it seems I shouldn't need any kind of gateway for this. There is no other data in the report aside from the Azure SQL Database data. Is there a way around this?

Hi @Anonymous ,
If your dataset only contains Azure SQL database dataset, Power BI gateway is not required.
Could you please check if your dataset only have the Azure SQL database or have other dataset?
