I have a column in a table called "Value". It is a Decimal column and has it's Summarization setting set to SUM:
I'm using it in a Table visual, but the "Total" isn't showing up:
Normally in the Columns setting, you can change the aggregation method of the column by clicking the down arrow next to it. But I don't see that option?
What I already checked:
1. The Total option is turned on for the visual, so it's not that I have totals turned off.
2. I checked if the column has (null) values, it does not, I replaced those in my Power Query of pulling the table in.
Any thoughts on what it could be? I could create a new Measure and SUM the column, but I don't understand why this doesn't simply work.
@MarkPBI , in power query is the column type decimal ?

Yes, it's a decimal type:
@MarkPBI , This is weird, I don't have an explanation for this, but yes as you mentioned it should work when put into a measure.
