Why does the marker not change size when adjusting the size of my Charticulator visual?

I am adjusting the size of my Charticulator visual. As I make it smaller and larger, the marker (circle) stays the same size. Here is my visual:

When I make it smaller this is what I get:

What I'd like is for the marker to change to change size alongside with the rest of the visual. Is there a way to do this?.

Thannks in advance,

Hi @HamidBee

The symbol size can be controlled by categorical data, (drag a numeric into the size attribute for the symbol)  but charticulator does not have any way to tell how large a visual is on the Power BI canvas. Even so, X and Y axis do scale when a visual is resized, as does a Mark, which is tied to an Axis, but a symbol stays the same size when you change the visualisation size when editing in Power BI as it has only one anchor point, so you can control the position but not the size.

The best option is to use the Size attribute (if you've manually set the size) or the Range Start and End attributes (if you're using a size variable) to get the symbol to be the right size for your visualisation size.

Of course, when the visualisation is published users can't resize the visual, so you don't get the problem. If the entire canvas is resized (viewing on a mobile, or smaller screen etc.) then all visuals scale appropriately and symbols get smaller or larger as required.

Hope this helps

Thank you for the explanation that was very clear to understand. I really hope that they Charticulator does include this option someday.
