I noticed in Desktop and on Service that sometimes when you pull in a dimension to the filter pane it will show you a count of the number of records that will be pulled in. But then other times it will just show 1's for everything.
Is there anyway to enable a count for all or disable this number completely?
in the table from which you are dragging the column, you have more than 1 row having the value shown in the filter pane ?
can you show an example ??
cz the number reflects the count of the value from the same table which you dragged the column from
if not, can you please show a screenshot of what you are getting ?
best regards,
Here you go, does this help?
Hello @Clampazzo
the number depends on the column you are dragging :
example :
this is my test data :
if i drag item to the filter pane, it will show 1 for all which is the count per each value of the column,
however if i drag, itme (groups) , i have the counts of rows per group .
so when you are seeing 1, im assuming you are filtering base on a column where you have unique values ,
I hope this information proves helpful. If it doesn't fully address your needs, please feel free to provide further clarification or ask any additional questions. I am here to assist you in any way I can
best regards,
Actually no, where I am seeing one if I click on one of those I get a few hundred results....
