Why does sum in table visual = 100%
Hello - The % of Total column at the far right is actually giving the correct numbers. For example, for the first row of that row's context there were 146 shipments....out of a total shipment count of 328. 146 is indeed 44.51% of 328.
My question, is why does the total at the bottom of the % of Total show 100% ?
And why did the totals at the bottom equal close...but not exactly....100% ?
SteveCampbell I think I found it.
I had created a manual group that grouped the number of days late an order was. Turns out, Order HS-1007080, had three lines to it. And one of those lines shipped later than the other two. So while the distinct total count was correct, it kept adding up to +1 more whenever I add the additional context of the grouping. (same thing happens in my original table I posted about).
In other words, one of the orders is appearing two times (once in each of the groupings below).
Thanks for your help...that got me on the right path!

This is the fault of the roundness.
Could you please provide a file or measure code that calculate % ? To make sure, we can check that the function is well written.

If you see closely none of the totals are right.
Are you using Dax to sum total? whats the formula you using.
For Eg: if you sum total the first Column this is not the right total it displaying. It should be 182 instead of 138
Once you correct this, your % will change and hence your total should match.

The fact the totals at the bottom add to 329 but your total column says 328 implies to me that there is the same Flu Shipped by Order Date'[Order] appearing in multiple columns and this column may not be unique
