Why does a distribution appear when I drill down on a data point in a scatter chart?

Drilling down on a data point in this scatter chart causes the legend to turn into a distribution graphic. What causes this? Is this intended? I'm using the default scatter chart and I can't find any documentation detailing this.

@forrest_990 , This should appear in case you are using gradient conditional formatting. If not,
Can you share sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
