Hi,
I hope this message find you well !
I'm brand new on PowerBI and I'm doing a dashboard based on the last date of my dataset (normally, it's yesterday's date / TODAY()-1). So I've done this measure in order to put in the filter shelf FiltreToday="True":
But I don't understand why the number into the green circle change when I delete the column "DTDATE" (screenshot below):
The main problem is that I want to have the top 10 rows and filtered by the last date. But the software doesn't allow to do the last date (top 1 of the latest date) and after that the top 10 rows...
Thanks in advance for the help and have a nice day.
Fabien

Hi @Anonymous ,
I have create a simple sample based on your description:
You can use the filter to get the top 10 rows and filtered by the last date:
Final output:
Or you can create a new table of TOP 10 rows:
Table 2 = TOPN(10,'Table',[Date],DESC)
Final output:
If the result is not what you want, please provide me with more details about your table and your problem or share me with your pbix file after removing sensitive data.

@Anonymous , Nir very clear , A measure like can give max date or today's data
YTD =
var _max = if(isfiltered('Date'),MAXX( allselected('Date'), 'Date'[Date]) , today())
//or // _max = MAXX( allselected('Table'), 'Table'[Date])
return
calculate(sum(Table[Value]), filter(Table, Table[Date] = _max) )
