Why can a % and number not be in the X and

Hello. Im new to BI. I'm trying to use a scatter chart to depict wholesale and MSRP% using the brand as a legend.  I have made sure to make sure the data is in text form. I am unable to use these two data points in the X and Y axis. It is only one or another.

Hello-

   Try converting them to decimal numbers instead of text.
