I am using live connection.
I have a measure that returns text I want to use as a text on button. I am using button instead of card because card does not have alignment feature. But all the fields are greyed out. What could cause this?
What is the best way to display a sentence in Power BI? The sentence includes DAX calculation.
@tvaishnav you don't get the option to add measure in the textbox? When I add a textbox, I have the option to add values, do you see it on your end?

Hey @tvaishnav , to be able to add a measure as a tooltip, it must be of 'Text' format as tooltips accepts only that. Like in the image given below, please check what the format is set to and if Text it should not grey out. Thanks!
> Please give a thumbs up if my solution helped you!
I see that but can't seem to add value. I see this.
I see that some versions of Power BI require to set language under Modeling tab but that option is greyed out as well since I am using live connection.
Hi, @tvaishnav
There are many restrictions in live connection mode, Or you can try to have only variables in measure, and write the text content directly in the text box. (Add the text and measure to the textbox respectively)
If it doesn't work. In your case, If card visual can display the results you want, maybe you can consider using card in combination with the textbox. (Use two visuals to display all the results you need)

Thanks for the response @parry2k . That was the first thing I tried but measure just won't get added. This is how my measure is defined.
EstCostvsFCCost = "Forecast Cost is " & Format(Divide(sum(Fact_ProjCost[Forecast Cost]) - sum(Fact_ProjCost[Estimated Cost]),sum(Fact_ProjCost[Estimated Cost]),0),"0%") & " away from Estimated cost."
