While loading in power query in power bi desktop getting error message

Hi All,

 Getting error message

While loading data using power query error message

String or binary data would be truncated while reading column of type 'VARCHAR(8000)'

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi @Anonymous - Can you try to create new custom column in power query editor.

use this below function in problematic column : 

= Table.TransformColumns(Source, {{"YourColumn", each Text.Start(_, 8000), type text}})

Try the above logic and lets see if you would ignore the binary or string data truncated.
